VISAGE

They’re all lies that most people believe.

  FEATURES OF NOTE :

EYES His   narrow eyes   , rimmed with dark bags, are stormy gray with hypnotic rings of darker gray. The irritated red of his waterline suggests sleepless nights or   recent tears   . This intense gaze leaves others feeling both mesmerized and uneasy, as if peering into hidden sorrows.

SMILE Wearing a medical mask, his smile is   mostly obscured  , revealing only a subtle crinkle in his eyes. Without it, others describe his smile as rare and gentle. Yet, his smile sometimes   appears uncertain   , as if he struggles to mirror the contentment of others after so long apart from the living.

HANDS Years of exposure to embalming chemicals have left noticeable marks on his skin. His previously natural complexion has developed a persistent sallow,   grayish tint  . Additionally, his hands appear particularly   sensitive   to touch, texture, and temperature changes due to the extensive exposure to chemicals in his occupation which has led him to cover them with soft-textured gloves.

habits

MANNERISMS 3-?-1 is often caught engaging in repetitive rocking motions, compulsive pacing, or hand flapping when it is presumed that there is no one to witness these habits. Otherwise, the Subject defaults to   wringing his hands   .

SLEEP Subject exhibits altered sleep patterns, including increased light sleep and   reduced deep sleep  . Often wakes or stirs easily without background noise or excessive blankets for additional pressure draped over Subject's body.

VICES Heightened need for   routine   and predictability. When faced with a situation that is unexpected , 3-?-1 is prone to shut down with inward directed irritation.

SOCIAL 3-?-1 tends to avoid social interaction that is not apart of a   one on one   situation. When sat down within a group of people, he is prone to withdrawal. It is presumed that may be due in part to having a self-controlled environment.

BEHAVIOUR

TRAITS   Detached   , fixated, morally ambiguous, persuasive, introspective, purposeful, sensitive to authority and influence , intense, observant, patient, calculated, well-intentioned.

NATURE Melancholic

SPEECH Consists of even, sure delivery with a   serious intonation   .

living

OCCUPATION Mortician.   Subject's familiarity with the intricacies of this field contrasts sharply with his limited exposure to other areas, reflecting a life shaped by the specific needs   and   context provided by his caretaker's profession.

SATISFACTION Deeply satisfied.

HEALTH We have observed that  Subject 3-?-1  experiences shallow and ragged breathing, accompanied by pronounced fatigue during physical exertion. These symptoms have become particularly evident during activities such as   running   or vaulting. It appears that long-term exposure to formaldehyde in the subject's career before arrival has resulted in significant respiratory challenges.

INCOME Affluent   ( Upper middle class )

BACKGROUND

You feel like a failure because no-one loves you...
START RECORDING Subject 3-?-1’s life was deeply affected by the tragic loss of his   mother   , which left him engulfed in intense   grief   and emotional turmoil. Compounded by his Autism-related Alexithymia, which impaired his ability to recognize and articulate his emotions, this loss drove him into a state of profound confusion and isolation.
Following this tragedy, Subject X, an older individual with manipulative tendencies,   exploited   the subject’s emotional vulnerability. Under the guise of offering guidance and support, Subject X drew Subject 3-?-1 into the field of mortuary sciences, presenting it as a way to help others confront their mortality. Subject X preyed on the subject 3-?-1's   inability to fully process his own emotions   , manipulating him into accepting ethically questionable practices as compassionate service.Subject X’s influence led Subject 3-?-1 to rationalize mercy killing, further driven by the sense of purpose presented by Subject X. This manipulation, combined with prolonged exposure to formaldehyde—which is known to induce   hallucinations   —intensified his mental health struggles. The subject began to experience delusions, believing he was communicating with the deceased. The decline in Subject 3-?-1’s mental health, fueled by both chemical exposure and the manipulative environment,   altered his perception of reality   . His distorted view led him to become increasingly convinced of his "conversations" with the dead.Consequently, Subject 3-?-1’s involvement in mortuary sciences became deeply compromised, reflecting a significant distortion of ethical and professional norms. The psychological damage inflicted on Subject 3-?-1 still persists, leading to unintended harm while being perceived as   beneficial   to others. Especially in consequence to forming benevolent relations.

You only exist if there’s someone who sees you.

major life events

Life is made up of a series of lies.
EVENT Apprenticeship. The day that the Subject's mother embraced her death, Subject 3-?-1 welcomed coming under Subject X's wing. The elder took the young Subject's hand and led him out of the cemetery. The boy only looked back once.

EVENT Withdrawl. During a review by school staff, it became evident that Subject 3-?-1 required specialized counseling from a doctor. A letter was subsequently sent to Subject X, indicating that the child might have Autism or needed other unspecified assistance. Consequently, Subject 3-?-1 was excluded from further study at the school.

Love? It’s a fairytale some person made up, so they didn’t have to face...
EVENT Innovative. Lacking formal education, Subject 3-?-1's learning took shape through practical tasks designed to support Subject X in his profession. Through these tasks, Subject 3-?-1 acquired essential traits: being calm, accurate, and decisive in guiding individuals to their final rest.

EVENT Praey. An intriguing letter arrived, marked by a sense of anticipation and secrecy. It reads: 'Dear Aesop, it has been some time since we last communicated. This afternoon, I will be waiting for you in the yellow rose garden in the cemetery's eastern corner. I eagerly await our meeting.' This note suggests a clandestine rendezvous, hinting at a significant event poised to unfold in the quiet cemetery.

the cold, hard fact that we are all alone. You come into this world alone, and you leave it alone.
EVENT Certificate. A chilling report of death emerged with scant details: the exact time and cause of death remain undisclosed, leaving only the administrator’s signature as a point of reference. The final note in the report starkly advises: 'So, be brave and say goodbye to the world.' This impersonal and cryptic documentation underscores a disturbing normalization of death within the administrator's domain, indicating a calculated and dispassionate approach to ending lives.

EVENT Kindness. Pivotal and harrowing, it was revealed that Subject X had murdered Subject 3-?-1's mother. The discovery plunged Subject 3-?-1 into profound internal conflict and deep depression, as the shocking truth shattered the fragile sense of security and trust they had in Subject X. Despite this traumatic revelation, Subject X continued to play a central role in Subject 3-?-1's life, taking them in and imparting the very techniques that had led to such personal devastation.

Loneliness, it’s the one the thing we fear most. It means you’re forgotten.
EVENT Memoire. Subject 3-?-1 felt a grim satisfaction upon observing Subject X’s deterioration following his return from an invite. This reversal of power dynamics mirrored the past, fulfilling Subject 3-?-1’s long-held curiosities lie within vengeance. The moment offered a twisted sense of closure and intensified his drive to alleviate others from the suffering caused by their own physical decline.

findings

NOTES      ⸺      Subject 3-?-1 exhibited no significant behavioral or physiological changes following the administration of the experimental   drugs   , in contrast to the other subjects who displayed marked alterations. The   absence of noticeable effects   suggests a unique neurological response or resilience in Subject 3-?-1, potentially linked to their autism. Further analysis is required to understand the underlying mechanisms of this resistance.

               ALIAS Embalmer

               PRONOUNS It/he

PERSONALITY The Embalmer a disillusioned figure, deeply disappointed by humanity’s tendency toward vices and dishonesty. Though critical and   weary   , it doesn't hate humans but see their flaws as a   tragic waste of potential   . He carries a deep sense of duty and responsibility, seeing himself as a necessary part of the natural order rather than a malevolent force.

VISAGE It wears a long, blood-stained white doctor's coat, laced up at the back with red cross-stitches on the sleeves. The coat is fastened at the back with   intricate lacing   , emphasizing its tailored fit. Beneath it, he has a black undershirt and black gloves, adding to his ominous appearance. He carries a bloodied axe, and an embalming tube hangs from his belt, underscoring his grim, deathly role. The outfit combines the eerie presence of both a healer and a   harbinger of death   .

No human being can be saved. This is my funeral song.
